Endure

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”
Rachel Carson

This place quiets me with its voice,
Its soft and wild beauty,
This place that pulses in rhythm with
the most magnificent tides on the planet.

I am but one solitary witness.
I see and feel and listen,
but how can I find words to speak of it all?

I feel calm just looking at these images. And to be the one solitary witness - well, that tent just looks like a spot sitting next to Heaven. Thanks so much for sharing this.

I echo the words of the previous commenter. I've had a frantic and noisy day doing I job I don't enjoy. These photos bring me back to the self. I especially like the solitary one.

Thank you gals...yes, I do live in one of the most sublimely beautiful places and peaceful places. We aren't grand according to the world standards, but we are gifted according to mine!
